Hill Labs Water Compliance Services – Six Months in and Going Strong
It’s been nearly six months since we integrated the new Water Compliance Services team - previously part of Food and Health Standards (FHS) - into Hill Labs. Since then, the team has been getting up to speed with our quality and safety systems and is already making a real difference out in the field.
The team, led by Jared Halstead, includes a manager and seven compliance technicians who are based at our Christchurch laboratory on Print Place and also in Kaikoura.
Encouragingly, we’ve received positive interest from a number of organisations managing drinking water who are keen to understand how we can help them stay compliant with relevant standards. Our team is well-equipped to support them - whether through expert advice or hands-on sampling.
In the coming months, we’re excited to expand our reach, working with more clients to ensure their water is safe and compliant. We’ll be assisting with everything from scheduling and sampling to navigating the Drinking Water Quality Assurance Rules. We also manage stormwater and wastewater consents and field requirements.
