One truism in business is that everything starts with people, and so the ability to attract, retain and develop talent is critically important. We’re therefore very pleased to share the news below of two high-calibre senior appointments – one to our executive team and one to our Board – who we know will be valuable additions to our team.
We’re excited to share that a major systems upgrade is on the horizon that will enhance how we manage invoicing and accounts receivable (AR). Scheduled to go live in the second half of 2026, this is part of a broader ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation project to support our evolving business.
Following a rigorous recruitment process, we are very pleased to announce that Mike Wink will be starting with us as our new General Manager - Operations on Monday 2nd February next year. Mike brings a wealth of experience and a strong alignment with Hill Labs’ values. His leadership style and operational expertise will be instrumental as we continue to grow and navigate the increasing complexity of our multi-faceted business.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Leslie as our newest Director, starting in December. Mark - currently CEO of Pamu/Landcorp - will join family members Roger, Jonno and Geoff, and our independent Chair, David Hughes, on the Board.
At Hill Labs, our passion for both our people and our customers drives everything we do. Two years ago, that passion inspired us to expand into a larger space at our Print Place location - and today, we’re proud to say it continues to serve us exceptionally well.
Innovation in agricultural testing is about more than just speed; it’s about confidence in every result. Our use of Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) is one example of a technology that we have invested in to allow us to analyse soil and feed samples quickly, and accurately.
