Territorial Authorities

Environmental health plays a crucial role in protecting the wellbeing of communities across Aotearoa. We provide the only multi-region team of Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) in New Zealand, available to support Territorial Authorities. With national coverage across more than 14 councils and ISO 17020 accreditation, we deliver consistent, scalable support wherever you operate.

We help regulatory function leaders to maintain safe and healthy environments for the public. Our team of qualified Environmental Health Officers provide trusted, practical expertise across a wide range of specialist areas, including food safety alcohol licensing, health nuisances, district plan compliance, hygiene standards, housing, hazardous substances, infectious and communicable diseases, noise management, and support during civil defence emergencies.

We operate under various legislation including the Food Act 2014, Health Act 1956, Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA), Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the Amusement Devices Regulations 1978.
