“What I value most about working at Hill Labs is the incredible team of people. I’m grateful and humbled to be surrounded by such inspiring colleagues. The collaboration, innovation, passion, and friendly challenges we share—always with smiles—make each day fulfilling; the moments when I can support and witness amazing things happening around me are truly inspiring.  

Before I even started at Hill Labs, I had heard of its stellar reputation. I admired the professionalism and the fact that it’s a proudly New Zealand-owned and operated business. When I saw the advertisement for my current role, it felt like the stars had aligned. I now get to do what I love every day for a company I’ve always respected.  

One memorable moment was on my eighth day at work when I showed up in an 80’s dress-up outfit to celebrate our 40th year in business. It was a fun and unique way to break the ice and get to know the team!  

I’m incredibly passionate about my customers. My role allows me to bring fresh perspectives to both our clients and Hill Labs, offering a variety of options and innovative solutions. I love watching these relationships evolve over time, especially when they are driven by a shared passion for what we do.  

Every day is different! My role requires adaptability, responsiveness, and a positive, solution-focused mindset. I spend my days finding new opportunities to highlight Hill Labs’ versatility, strengths, and scientific innovations. Building strategic relationships and delivering solutions that create mutually beneficial outcomes is at the heart of what I do. The dynamic nature of the role allows me to bring my strengths forward primarily by being organised and continuously refining plans! 

I’m lucky to have an incredible group of girlfriends who encourage me to step out of my comfort zone, whether it's attending festivals, going to concerts, or exploring new gin distilleries (because age is just a number right!).”
