New and Improved Multi-Use Carton Packaging

We are dedicated to finding sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and our valued clients. In line with this commitment, we are pleased to announce our transition from chilltainers to multi-use cardboard cartons. These cartons are used for our pre-made kits including the Routine Water & E.coli, Food Safety, NZ GAP kits, and more.

These new cartons are an eco-friendlier alternative, featuring a fully recyclable cardboard exterior and a washable, reusable foil pouch inner. In addition to their environmental benefits, the new packaging offers improved insulation, enhanced durability, and excellent water resistance. We are excited about this positive change and the impact it will have on both our customers and the planet.

Each box comes with our signature atom on the side, ensuring they are easily identifiable for our courier agents, who prioritise delivery of our boxes to the lab.

USING THE NEW PACKAGING

Follow these simple steps when using the new packaging to ensure your samples remain in optimal condition for testing.

Inside the EnviroFoil pouch, you'll find your ice packs and sampling containers. The envelope with your paperwork and instructions will be sitting on top when you open the box.

  1. Prepare the Ice Packs - Open the pouch and remove the ice packs. Freeze them overnight before taking your samples. These are crucial for maintaining the required temperature for your samples.
  2. Ready to Sample - Once you're ready, take out your sampling containers and place the now-frozen ice packs back into the foil pouch.
  3. Collect Your Samples - Fill your sampling containers and return them to the pouch. Position your samples in the middle of the ice packs to keep them as cool as possible.
  4. Seal the Pouch - Fold the top of the pouch down and tape it closed to retain the cool air inside. The insulated foil will keep your samples cool for at least 24 hours, giving you time to return them to the lab.
  5. Complete Your Paperwork - Fill out your details on the paperwork provided. Return the sample to the lab either by courier or by dropping it off. Attach your courier tickets and address labels to the designated sections on top of the box.

Cartons began shipping in late December and early January. For more information contact our friendly client services team on 0508 Hill Labs (44 555 22)
