Introducing our Newest Board Director

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Leslie as our newest Director, starting in December. Mark - currently CEO of Pamu/Landcorp - will join family members Roger, Jonno and Geoff, and our independent Chair, David Hughes, on the Board.

Mark’s role at Pamu – the country’s largest farming business and publicly owned – means he has deep insights into market dynamics and best practices across all of the country’s largest Agricultural industries.  As well as being a capable executive with a track record of strong performance at Silver Fern Farms and Fonterra before his current role, Mark also sits on the Board of WorkSafe, and so has deep expertise in the mitigation and management of risk, both from a policy and enforcement perspective, and also as a business leader.

“I’m proud to join the board of Hill Labs, a trusted New Zealand business with over 40 years of operation.  I look forward to helping govern Hill Labs as they continue to play a vital role in supporting the agricultural sector through science and innovation.”

The primary industries are extremely important to us here at Hill Labs, and ‘NZ Inc’ is our everything, so Mark is an excellent fit for us.  It is a privilege to have someone of Mark’s calibre joining us, to help us be the best we can be in supporting our customers in the ever-evolving markets that they operate in.
