Hill Labs offers a comprehensive range of molecular and microbiology testing for different pet food sample types, ranging from raw materials such as meat, grains and bone meal to finished product, along with environmental monitoring testing. We are committed to this industry, and are looking forward to attending the New Zealand Pet Food Manufacturers Association Conference in Wellington later this month.

In the heart of Marlborough, we have a dedicated beverage testing laboratory with local knowledgeable staff and precision equipment. Leading the charge in supporting the beverage industry is Vanessa Burrows - our Blenheim Site and Key Account Manager - who is backed by an experienced team that have built an extensive network of clients across New Zealand.

We recently installed two EV charging stations at our Duke St lab and purchased two entry-level Tesla Model 3s.  As well as helping us reduce our environmental footprint, the vehicles also stack up financially.  After the government rebate they cost about $50K each (excluding GST), and will have much lower running and maintenance costs than traditional combustion engine vehicles.  They’re wonderful to drive, and so their value for money is excellent.

Over the past few years, Hill Laboratories has become increasingly aware of its responsibility towards environmental sustainability. Understanding and reducing our organisational environmental footprint has now become a key focus for us.
